Paul Mugarura

For over 10 years, Paulo has led worship and produced music wherever he has had the opportunity. Starting with the christian boy band – HeavenBound – in Uganda, he has left a distinct impression on the artists and groups he has worked with both in Uganda, where he grew up and in Canada where he now lives.

In 2003, Paulo moved out of his computer science background into full-time ministry. He worked for four years as the lay minister in charge of worship at Greenbelt Baptist Church and in 2007, he moved to Woodvale Pentecostal Church to take up the position of worship and multicultural ministries pastor. The people at Woodvale will testify to the fact that he is relentlessly pursuing his desire to connect people to God regardless of their generation, ethnic background or musical taste.

2010 was an exciting year for Paulo because he finally got to release his debut single album titled 'Decision'. Recorded over the span of 2 years in his basement, it is the realization of a journey of self discovery, humility and learning.
