Phil Kimemia
Bio
Phil Kimemia is an award-winning Kenyan gospel musician.
He began his music career in 2017 with the release of the cover for the hit single Nadeka by Guardian Angel.
His genre is RnB and he cites American gospel singer Jonathan McReynolds as one of his musical influences.
Phil grew up in a musical family. His parents used to actively sing in the church and then his elder sister Reay Kimemia who is also a professional gospel singer, taught him how to master harmonies at an early age.
He learnt to play the guitar by himself at the age of 16.
His favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 13:12: Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.
