Bio
Q (born Sakumzi Qumana) is a Johannesburg-based recording artist and producer.
He is the founder, vocalist and producer of the Johnny Cradle band. Since Johnny Cradle’s last appearance at Rocking The Daisies festival in 2018, Q started working on his debut solo record called 'Everything Here Is True 2020' under his independent record label onQUE Recordings.
Over the years, Q has appeared at many South African festivals including Oppikoppi, Rocking The Daisies, Basha Uhuru and Afropunk Festival.
Q’s inspiration and approach to his new music is based on his roots as a makeshift multi-instrumentalist making art for the pleasure of making it.
