Sauti Academy - Nairobi

Started in 2010 by Natalie Lukkenaer, Sauti Academy nurtures and develops singer's talent to enable them to start and sustain a professional musical career. Among the over 400 alumni and former students are award winning artists H_art the Band, Elani, Willy Paul, Bahati, Phy, Prisca Ojwang' and many others.

At the core of Sauti Academy is their Artist Development Program for singers. This one-year program includes singing lessons, performance coaching, event organizing experience, song writing lessons and music business coaching. In order for interested singers to join Sauti Academy, they need to pass an audition which are taking place every 4 months. Ultimately, all singers who complete the program will have developed their unique musical identity and a confident stage performance. They will also have gained basic music industry knowledge that enables them to start and sustain a performing career in the industry.
