Shuggie Rocks

Shuggie Rocks is a vocal wizard, a crafty storyteller, a crossover king and a master of melodies that sparks instant parties or provokes quiet reflection – in perfect doses and often on the same record.

A double-edged sword, Shuggie Rocks can sing and put on rap in multiple styles. He was influenced by Reggae, Dancehall and Hip Hop Music growing up following the likes of Lucky Dube, Nelly, T.I and Sean Paul being his favourite artists. In 2013 he started writing, performing and creating his own music in the genre known only to him as Epic Music and Pop-Rap
He started his stage performances as a cruise-ship performer with his former band group Elastoz Muziq performing for the cruisers from South Africa to Europe. He the n got opportunities to perform at some prestigious festivals such as The Scottish Soulful Weekender at Preston in UK, The Piton International Film Festival in ST Lucia the Caribbean Island, and had performed alongside Kenny Chelsney in 2018 at Gillette Stadium in US and The Atlanta Black Theater Festival in Georgia Atlanta and in Argentina Intercontinental Film Festival of Cordoba to mention a few.
