The Standard is a weekly newspaper in Zimbabwe. It is a part of Alpha Media Holdings (AMH) group, along with Zimbabwe Independent and NewsDay. AMH is an independent media organization owned by Zimbabwean business mogul Trevor Ncube. It is published on Sundays and covers politics, entertainment, sports and business.
The publication has a specialized section designed to feature news and analysis to do with the country’s music industry.
