Verena Thissen

Verena Thissen is a project manager Future Lab Tunisia in Germany with vast knowledge in intercultural discipline.

Future Lab Tunisia is an initiative of The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and the Kamel Lazaar Foundation in Tunis. The project is an initiative of the German Federal Foreign Office.

Thissen graduated from the University of Cologne and Seville with a Master in Latin American Area Studies. She is also an expert in postcolonial theory and the cultural characteristics of the Global South and North.

Thissen has worked as a project manager for various cultural institutions in Germany and abroad. She has played influential roles in implementing long-term international projects and developing artistic and educational programs.
