He performs with his band Shamwari Dzerwendo.
WaCharie started his professional music career in 2013 and has released 3 studio albums - Bumharutsva (2018), Tangerima (2019) and Chidzorogodo (2024). In 2020, he also released a 4-track EP titled Dzeupenyu: Life Stories.
Inspiration:
WaCharie is inspired by his deep love for music, which he sees as a cure for life's ailments. He is also inspired by music giants like the late Oliver Mtukudzi and Congolese artist Lokua Kanza, whom he considers humble pacesetters.
