Wagogo Festival

The overarching aims of the festival are to continue to break the silence and to sound the voices of Wagogo culture, by encouraging Wagogo people to think, talk about, …and express through music, dance and drama their cultural identity and affirm the importance of their identity as a powerful unifying tool within village communities.

Donations are welcomed. The organizers, Chamwino Arts Centre, need more than $8000 to support the performance and to add to the infrastructure with construction of permanent sanitary facilities for participants and the community.
