Bio
XCVI (96) is a South African hip hop duo from northern Johannesburg formed in 2016.
It comprises Otis Woods (Samson Makhubela) and Rambo (Thando Ngcola). The duo has performed at The Players Club (Cantare, Monte Casino), Cappellos (Newtown), Skyline (Braamfontein), Platinum Lounge (Cosmo City) and a list of other clubs and private events around Gauteng.
XCVI has also taken part in the YFM Cypher where both artists came out victorious in their respective rounds. XCVI released their highly anticipated '96 The Trvp: A compilation by XCVI' mixtape in January 2018. The mixtape consists of 12 songs dealing with social issues and young people face in today's world. The duo's lyrics encourage free thinking and self-awareness.
