Yannick Niyonzima

Yannick Niyonzima, a Rwandan citizen of Burundian origin, is a multifaceted artist, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for youth empowerment and cultural promotion. With a deep-rooted connection to Burundian sacred drums and music, Yannick has dedicated his life to preserving and showcasing Africa's rich cultural heritage.

As a visionary leader, Yannick founded and heads the Iteka Youth Organisation in Rwanda, spearheading impactful initiatives in education, socio-economic development, arts, and culture since 2020. His brainchild, the Iteka African Cultural Festival, celebrates the continent's diverse heritage, promoting unity and cross-cultural understanding.

Beyond his organizational roles, Yannick is the proprietor of Yan Events, a Kigali-based social enterprise specializing in innovative events management. With a performance career spanning over two decades, Yannick has participated in numerous festivals and events across Africa since 2004, leveraging his platform to foster innovation, unity, and social transformation.

Through his tireless efforts, Yannick Niyonzima has established himself as a driving force in Rwanda's cultural landscape, inspiring a new generation of leaders and change-makers.
