Yasmina grew up between two worlds, in the border city of Melilla with Morocco, an environment that has shaped her in a profound way. Her Amazigh heritage runs intricately woven into the fabric of her identity and musical expression.
With his heart rooted in the Rif and his footsteps echoing in the diaspora, he passionately cultivates his cultural roots through electronic music. Proudly reclaiming and reimagining the diverse sounds of the Tamazgha, infusing them with electronic vibes and Arabic influences.
Yasmina's music is a reflection of her journey: a testimony of resilience, a celebration of poetry and a rhythmic tapestry of percussion honoring the diverse sounds of the Maghreb.
In his sets he seeks to highlight house music, afro house; along with the tradition of his land, fusing modernity and folklore. He offers a journey that meticulously combines Amazigh chants, l'ghaita, derbuka, qarqabs and contemporary electronic music, taking the listener to a deep introspection and a journey through the senses.
Yasmina, now settled in Barcelona, plays in various underground clubs in the city. She also travels to Morocco where she starts to be noticed on the dancefloor. She is also resident dj on RBL and Oroko Radio, an international radio station based in Ghana that brings together various African artists.
