Bio
This ambitious young woman has dedicated herself to music from a young age. In 2015, she moved to Canada with her family and quickly recognized the opportunities available to her.
She began her music career as LYA in 2016 with her debut single "Au Bout De Mes Rêves", catching the eye of a Canadian producer. Since then, LYA has collaborated with Haitian singer Richy Jay and was nominated for Francophone Artist of the Year at the first JFMF Awards. Her single "Fan'm Fô" achieved success in North America, Africa, and France, where she toured major tropical radio stations in Paris. In 2019, her single "Par Amour" won Best New Artist at the KMA Awards in Toronto and was featured in the "Zouk Session 2019" compilation.
LYA then adopted the stage name LYA SHERLEY and released successful tracks like "Rété Evè Mwen" and "Oulala" with Romanpy, earning a nomination for "BEST DUO" at the KMA Awards in Toronto. Her latest single "Ti Chou", sung entirely in Creole, has over 1,000 radio broadcasts and more than 69,000 YouTube views in three months. She is also nominated for "BEST FEMALE ARTIST" at the KMA Awards in Toronto.
Currently, Lya Sherley is working on an EP set to release next spring. Her latest single "Rencontre 2.0" is now available on all download platforms.
