Mista Poa Kasereka is an international performer, songwriter, composer and producer. Genre:Reggae;AfroBeat;Folklore and World Music. In 2005, tough the big event of the volcanic eruption in Goma, a large part of the population in Eastern Congo, remained without a home and started sleeping beneath the stars.
Two refugee brothers from Goma, both passionate about music, have created a musical group called BDM (group of brothers) in Butembo, city, or they were refuge after the volcanic eruption. The two brothers were Mista Poa and Malick Maliro and they come with a backup singer in Butembo, MC Ben.
The group changed its name to Karameh, the local word to indicate the typical black volcanic stone of the east.
Mista Poa and installed Karameh in Kampala (Uganda) and group composition has become more international after his change of borders.
