THE ODYSSEY OF THE NEW AFRO BEAT
Rostand began music at the age of 7 in Cameroon, he played the accordion as a self-taught musician.
Then in middle school, he learned to read musical notes and to sing in his college choir. After middle school,
Rostand joined several musical groups and performed in fairs, nightclubs and concert halls.
Rostand arrived in France in 2005 and continued his musical training in the MJC and later at the Concervatoire in the Paris region.
Rostand began to frequent jazz clubs and perform on stage. He was quickly spotted by a band covering American standards looking for a pianist.
He became a member of the group and performed in several venues in the Paris region.
Rostand, seduced by the stage, set up his own band and played in Paris and its surroundings.
