SA: Boity, Prince Kaybee and DJ Kent join 2020 VIVOnation line-up
South African artists Boity, Prince Kaybee and DJ Kent have been added to the 2020 VIVOnation music and lifestyle festival, which takes place at the Container Yard in City Deep, Johannesburg, on 4 and 5 April.
The three additions will join fellow South Africans Nasty C, Samthing Soweto, Nadia Nakai, Lady Zamar, Busiswa, Shekhinah, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small.
VIVOnation 2020 will feature multiple stages and unique experiences ranging from a pop-up barbershop to a sneaker customisation hub catering to the needs of kicks collectors and creative pioneers.
More stages, more artists
The event will feature three stages, namely Mainstage, Homecoming Events and WeHeartBeat. The above-mentioned acts will perform on the Mainstage.
The Homecoming Events stage seeks to raise Pretoria’s flag high as it present Pitori FM and a fresh mix of Johannesburg’s neighbour’s acclaimed music talent. It will feature a rap battle between emcees 25K and Focalistic. DBN Gogo will also provide a fusion of gqom, house and amapiano to heat up the dancefloor.
The WeHeartBeat stage will feature cool kid Muzi and DJ and producer Gina Jeanz. Augmenting the beats will be a vinyl-only segment on Sunday featuring Zara, DJ Symatics, Julius and Just Themba.
