Sinmi Jay and Gbadunsquad is an highlife | Afrobeat sextet. A deft blend of Highlife, Afrobeat, storytelling, folklore, African traditional music and modern electronic sound who sees yLagos as their biggest inspiration. They started as self-taught community musician organizing mini concert | platforms for relevant creative outburst. In the course of time, hard work, consistency, improving their Art and rare sound. They professionally won commissioned concerts like annual French National day since 2017, Dutch National day, Lagos jazz series, German National day, felabration, Sáábàdà Therapy (Mini concert) in France and Germany and many more.
They are currently putting their first album together, a body of work that is aimed at capturing the sound of Lagos city from the future.
