The song is off the group's fifth studio album Midnight Train, which is now available for pre-order ahead of its release on 5 June.

This will be the group's first release with Universal Music Africa after signing an exclusive recording deal in February. 

The album’s theme is centred on enjoying the journey of life but also embracing the hassles and trials that come with it. It features collaborations with Nigeria's Burna Boy, South Africa's Black Motion and Sho Madjozi, Kenya-based Congolese band Rumba Japan and American singer and songwriter India Arie. 

“There is a lot of maturity in the album,” Sauti Sol member Polycarp said. “We have come of age and we express how people should perceive us freely after 11 years as professional singers. Every song speaks to an issue that is relatable to everyone.”
