SA: Khuli Chana features Cassper Nyovest in Basadi

'Basadi' is a tribute to the late rapper HHP and is accompanied with a video. The song is available for streaming and download on streaming platforms. The video for the song will air on MTV Base in southern Africa, East Africa and West Africa.

“Of the three collaborations I’ve done with Cassper Nyovest, this is the first one that we worked on together from start to finish in the same space,” Khuli Chana, who celebrated his birthday on 27 August, said.

“When we were in studio, the chemistry was just right, and it comes across in the track. We brought that same energy to the music video and I believe this is our strongest joint offering and I can’t wait for everyone to experience the music visually.”

'Basadi' was produced by Cassper Nyovest and is Khuli Chana’s latest offering off his Planet of the Have Nots album. The music video was shot at a secret location. Other songs off Khuli Chana’s Planet of the Have Nots album include ‘Chicco’, ‘Maje’, ‘Diary’, ‘I Geddit’ and ‘TlobaMonate’.

Khuli Chana's other albums are Motswakoriginator and Lost in Time. He has won awards at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the Bookmarks and the Loeries.
