Peace Of Eden Recording Studio
Bio
A highly productive recording studio getaway and an originator of seminal albums, Peace of Eden is situated in a rural paradise on the Garden Route. It's on the edge of a forest, surrounded by ancient Yellowwoods near a stream littered with gold. Here they take tea breaks and work until the last star has risen. Sometimes you'll find a monkey at the mixing desk (engineer excluded) or be sung to by their pet guinea fowl.
What you won't find here is a sterile environment or bland personalities. Instead you will be exposed to one of the best recording masters in the country, the 'somewhat legendary' Howard Butcher and possibly end up with an award-winning product. If you're a musician and need a space to be creative in, this is it. The wide range of digital and analogue gear (with a number of prized vintage instruments) won't disappoint either. Accommodation is included, as is a hearty plate of food.
