Tanja Storm
Bio
Tanja Storm is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and performer from South Africa.
In 2009, she released her debut album. Some of her songs include 'Môreson' and 'No Place Like Home, which were among her number one hit singles on local radio stations. Her other songs, 'No More Money Blues' and 'Time' topped international charts.
Her second album 'Ek is Oppad' (a full Afrikaans album) was released in 2019 shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic. Storm worked remotely with other artists during the outbreak to live-stream her shows and record new material. This saw her releasing three singles and a theme song for a local documentary.
Storm is inspired by influences of blues, rock, jazz and ballads, and adapts her voice to every style of music that not only brings out the best in her, but also of the song.
