Sthembile

A KwaZulu-Natal gem with the most astonishing voice, not dance like music, more mature and soothing, clean, African representation, and those are just some of the words one would use to describe Sthembile Ngwenya.
Sthembile is a 28 years old African woman, with a great interest in music and the performing arts. Her love for music began at a young age as she was inspired by her father, who played the keyboard.
Sthembile was born and grew up in Hambanathi Township at Tongaat, KwaZulu-Natal, she spends most of her time writing new material and mentors aspiring artists who wish to follow in her footsteps.
Her unique sounds vary with various tracks, but can be classified as an Afro Soul singer who enjoys expressing her music talent using her home language.
Her highlights include being in the top 20 at the 2016 Gospel Icon Discovery Singing Competition, this initiative travels around to various townships and is supported by EThekwini Municipality Parks and Recreation. I currently perform Butchers Block, Florida Road in Durban.
I believe that no matter how impossible your dreams are, never stop fighting or changing what you desire, just because it is taking too long to get there, keep on fighting and never stop pushing.
