Exclusive Men of the Year Africa Awards 2021: All the nominees

The awards, organised by EMY Africa Magazine, are a Father’s Day-related event celebrating outstanding achievements by men and fathers.

Stonebwoy, Mr Drew, Kuami Eugene, Kofi Kinaata, King Promise and KiDi are among the popular musicians who secured nominations this year. Others include rapper Yaw Tog, ‘Leg Over’ star Mr Eazi, producer and record label executive Richie Mensah and 3Media Networks CEO Sadiq Abdulai Abu.

The EMY Awards said the winners of the honorary award categories would be announced on the main awards night. This year’s edition will see a number of changes: what was until now the Man of the Year – Entertainment Award has been broken up into the Music Man of the Year, Actor of the Year, and Creative and Support Arts Award categories. 

Voting is open to the public on the awards’ official website. Alternatively, fans can text ‘EMY’, followed by the name of their preferred nominee and category to 1393.
