Call for participation: Zimbabwe music industry survey
The National Arts Council of Zimbabwe is inviting music industry stakeholders from Zimbabwe to participate in a survey focusing on the local music industry.
The survey seeks to provide a better understanding of the state of the music industry in Zimbabwe. The call is designed for individuals who actively participate as music industry stakeholders, such as recording and performing artists, artist managers, producers, promoters, composers, songwriters, DJs and music curators, among others.
The results of the survey will be used to address some of the issues affecting the country’s music sector.
The questionnaire includes the following areas:
- Income and work satisfaction.
- Lifestyle, health and well-being.
- Gender and disability.
- Knowledge, gaps and challenges.
- Opportunities and recommendations.
Interested stakeholders can complete an online survey here.
“Our goal is to learn from Zimbabwean music industry stakeholders the situation and performance of the Zimbabwean music industry,” the NACZ said. “We hope that you will take a few minutes to participate.
“This is a voluntary survey and all of your responses are strictly confidential. You may skip over any questions you do not wish to answer or that you find inapplicable to you as an individual.
