Osanjo_ describes herself as your favourite indie artist.

The singer, songwriter and guitarist's songs border on afro-fusion, afro-pop, afro-indie and any other genre that tickles her fancy during the songwriting process. She fuses afrocentric sounds with a dash of rock giving her songs a smooth urban flow.

Osanjo loves playing acoustic shows with an amazing accompanying guitarist to an attentive audience.

A first-born of four children, Osanjo_ was born and raised in Nairobi. Music has always been a part of her life from home and school. Osanjo_ wrote her first song at 7 inspired by Michael Jackson's "Heal The World". She has been in choir all through her primary and secondary school.

She joined Sauti Academy for a semester after finishing her fourth year at Maseno University studying Actuarial Science. She picked up guitar playing in 2018 and this instrument has helped her write many of the songs she plays at gigs like the Kuona Artist showcase and artisan markets such as Pop Up and Chill & Asenka.
