Hanta ug

Joshua Kaweesa, professionally known as Hanta ug, is a talented and dedicated musical artist from Uganda who has quickly made a name for himself in the music industry.

With his unique blend of traditional rhythms and modern beats, catchy melodies, and energetic performances, Hanta has captured the hearts of fans in Uganda and beyond through his music as a singer, songwriter and dancer with great versatility in music genres like afrobeat, pop, R&B, soul and acappella. Hanta ug has also been able to grow his music career through working with different artists, producers, songwriters, videographers and choreographers in the music and entertainment industry both locally and internationally.

Starting the music career in 2009 while still in primary school; Hanta ug has written and performed a variety of songs like “Man Of War,” “No Talking,” “Sip Some,” “Far Away,” “One Day,” “Tambula” and so forth. These songs have gained traction and have become favorites to his fans. As he continues to work hard on new music, and to inspire and empower young people, there is no doubt that Hanta has a bright future ahead of him.
