Trakinuz

Jaílson Jorge Gomes Correia better known as TRAKINUZ, is a Cape-Verdian Rapper, 25 years old. He was born with a deficiency in his feet, what made him goes to Portugal very early to make an operation. He returned with 8 years, began to study until the 4th year in Picos (Santiago Island), more precisely in Leitão Grande and later went to continue in Achada Igreja until the 6th year. He entered high school, where he studied until the end of his 12th year of schooling in Assomada and in 2014 he completed his degree in Translation and Interculturalities at Jean-Piaget University in Cape Verde. His love for music came in high school when his friend José Maria Veiga introduced him to the HIP-HOP universe, featuring Rappers such as Eminem, Obi Trice, 2 Pac, DMX, KRS ONE, BIG, and since then music became part of his day-day and he can no longer live without music. He began as a contestant in the PICOS (north side of Santiago Island) in which he won, and as a prize he won the recording of a video clip and a mixtape. Then came Trakinuz, who has as a target audience young and mature adults with a certain maturity and knowledge, who can perceive the messages implied in their songs. His route during all this time was very satisfactory, having already acted in great part of the festivals at national level, such as:

- 40th Anniversary of the Artist Gil Semedo in the Várzea Stadium;
- Concert of the Liviti;
- Hip Hop Poet;
- Fest Music on May Island
- Festival Areia Grande in Santa Cruz
- Spoken Word Cape Verde;
Creator and defender of the ideology "Sonhuz Ta Kontinua ViVu" (The Dreams Still Alive in English) he believes that everything that is idealized and nourished by faith will be reproduced later on a real plane, although there are still setbacks and difficulties. He also believes that any dream, no matter how crazy, can be realized. Therefore, Trakinuz argues that a dream will always remain alive, regardless of any circumstances.
TRAKINUZ is a young musician who cares about the feeling of whoever hears his music. He seeks to convey much comfort, seeks to make his songs a refuge and a motivation for people, trying to give them a life purpose. It also seeks to encourage its audience to go after their dreams and never give up what they want and to believe in their potential, that is, he considers himself to be a musician that goes far beyond music, but rather the one that reaches the hearer's heart
