Maneh Music is a groundbreaking DJ Band performing trio led by the visionary artist and producer, Phazimane "Maneh Music" Semela. Rooted in an ethos of cultural unity and innovative sound, Maneh Music has captivated audiences worldwide and Nationally in South African settlements and cities since its inception in 2015. With a unique blend of genres that spans world music, Afro Soul, Reggae, Symphonic Gospel, Neo-Soul, electronic, pop, and folk, Maneh Music harnesses the power of music to convey universal themes of love, resilience, and connection.

**Background**

Born and raised in Gauteng, Orange Farm, Phazimane Semela grew up in a vibrant and multicultural environment in the townships and cities of South Africa, festivals. Surrounded by various musical influences, from traditional Maskandi Music, Afro Jazz, Kalimba Rhythmic sounds, Afro Pop, Afro Soul, Latin rhythms to contemporary electronic beats, Phazimane developed a passion for music at an early age during primary school in the seventh grade. Immersed in his African heritage, he often found solace in the sounds of his childhood playing acoustic bass guitar and busking in trains and community for coin and an innocent trade—whether it was the strumming of a guitar or the enchanting melodies of distant enchanting vocals and a balance in the harmony in the various blending of various instruments from cymbals, stringed instruments, woodwinds and a strong groove to encompass a beautiful tale of Love.

After studying music production and sound engineering through trial and error, research and field experience in the trade, Phazimane honed his skills while collaborating with local artists like Shef and Kitchen Music, Soultainment, Award winning reggae artist Reign Africa and studio recording sessions across various genres. In 2018, fueled by a desire to create a space where diverse musical influences could coexist, he launched Maneh Music and a production company " Afro Classic Studios" for content creation and balance of business within the trade. The project quickly gained traction for its refreshing approach to music creation, combining traditional elements with modern production techniques.
