Sham Sila is a hip hop artist from Arusha, Tanzania.
Sham Sila draws his inspiration from US artist Jay Z and Fid Q from Tanzania. In 2011, he released a hip hop debut single 'Hip Hop Never Dies’. Sham Sila has collaborated with artists such as traditional music singer Zanele (South Africa), US hip hop artist Shango, R&B singer Servanna (US), reggae and drums musician Lavosti (Kenya) and US hip hop musician Mama C.
He has also worked with artists from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Uganda and Malawi. Sham Sila has performed at the United African Alliance Community Centre in Arusha and many other places in and outside Tanzania.
