Iddi Achieng

Iddi Achieng is a musician from Nairobi, Kenya. Her music fuses Kenyan cultural beats and exotic tunes.

Born in Nairobi to a family of musicians, Achieng started singing in a church choir before joining the Nairobi City Ensemble, where she honed her musical talent. Besides singing in Dholuo, her mother tongue, Achieng also sings in Swahili, English, Dinka, Luganda and Arabic. Her multilingual abilities have seen her performing in Ethiopia, Djibouti, Tanzania, Uganda, Sweden and Norway.
