Earth Kwake

Molefi Kalvin Kgwakgwe(born February 3, 1995) is a South African recording and performing artist. He was raised in Unit 14, Mafikeng in the North West province. Molefi started his music career as a teenager in 2010 under the stage name Earth Kwake (pronounced as earthquake). Molefi began his music career with a crew called Hypstatic which had three members.
Earth Kwake started gaining recognition in 2015 when he was in another music group/band called TrippyNation SA which had five members. Later during the year he embarked on a new journey where he started organizing hip hop sessions at El Nino with his friends and associates that was called Huizbraak Hip Hop Sessions held every Thursday.
He released his first project Road To Success with the crew. In 2016, Earth Kwake began his solo career. The musician has been working with his long time friend Solomon Tlotlo Mosiane also known as Mula Man who happens to be the artists producer and sound engineer.
He has collaborated with Tolamoetlile Kgobokoe also known as Ngaka Matwetwe and Tsholofelo Rangaka also known as Streetz, to name a few, on his latest offering Dreams 4 Sale. Dreams 4 Sale is his debut album after releasing a mixtape called Make Maftown Great Again on the 7th of February 2020. Dreams 4 Sale is a fusion of motswako and hip hop.
