Bio
Odere is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and recording artist. Her stage name “Odere” was coined from the name of a popular singing dove, called “odere koko” in Yoruba. Born January 3rd, 1994 in the ancient city of Ibadan, south-western Nigeria.
She is the first child in the family of three.
At a young age she began to show interest in music as she started singing at the age of 6 at school and church choirs and since then has had ears for music from the likes of Lagbaja, Victor Olaiya, Lauryn Hill, Alicia keys, Ebenezer Obey, Brymo, Omawumi, Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Aretha Franklin, and the list is endless.
Over the years she has grown into a versatile singer and vocal powerhouse with 3 singles and a cover to her credit; Ara ile, Odere koko, and Ogo Olorun.
Odere is also a vocal instructor amongst other things. She is very passionate about her music and she thrives by giving her all to the art of music.
