Yasin Bamulumba
Bio
He is popularly known as Jungle de Maneater but his real name is Bamulumba Yasin.
He is from the Obidda family of the kasango clan from Busoga kingdom in Jinja town.
Jungle de Maneater, a name that means “the beauty of Africa”, a typical Musoga, is a renowned Ugandan performing artiste based in Kampala, Uganda.
In arts and culture, he scores a full time respect as far as Ugandan art and music industry is judged.
Since 2009, he has gradually taken onto “Lusoflo” (a brand name of the Lusoga rap and poetry style) as an entertaining tool, spreading cultural awareness message to all the Ugandan social communities i.e. east, west, central and north.
As a rapper (hip-hop artist), singer, poet, writer and at most a cultural activist, his music and other art pieces rotate randomly around love, peace, unity, togetherness, work, and feasting in contemporary urban life and culture.
Above all, due to his insatiable passionate love for art and culture, he is currently the eastern regional youth and hip-hop projects coordinator and tutor of poetry and hip-hop elements of music courtesy of Bayimba cultural foundation which provides regional, national, international platforms in form of workshops, live performances, networking and empowerment of creative individuals.
As a freelance performing artist, he has performed at;

• Cultural music galas like senator regional and national music galas
He is promoting his new and first ever music video titled “Mwekaza” which is now taking public plays on Ugandan local television stations and online international social networks. It is this song that has earned him a recognition Award in Busoga region.
