Top Burna Boy songs
Nigerian superstar Burna Boy (birth name Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu) was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, on 2 July 1991. Being the grandson of the legendary Fela Kuti’s first manager, Burna Boy grew up in a musically rich environment and started creating his own tunes at the tender age of 10.
After completing high school, he briefly studied at the University of London before he dropped out and headed back to Nigeria to kick-start his music career.
Fast forward to 2019, Burna Boy is now popularly known for his rich vocal tone and musicality. The Afro-fusion sensation blew up after releasing his song ‘Like to Party’ in 2012 followed by four studio albums and dozens of hits that have worked their way into our hearts, popular clubs and dancefloors around the world.
With all this success, Burna Boy quickly rose to stardom, clinching multiple awards along the way including the coveted 2019 BET Best International Act Award. His body of work includes features with a host of international stars such as fellow Nigerian artist Wizkid, AKA (South Africa), Damien Marley (US), Sarkodie (Ghana), and more recently Beyoncé on The Lion King: The Gift album. Burna Boy has also performed at prominent events such as Coachella, and sold-out shows around the world like the US and more recently the UK’s Wembley SSE Arena.

Like to Party
And then there was Burna Boy… The African giant debuted his career with this bumpy single. His musical style has since evolved from the old-school, sit-back-and-unwind hip style to a rich Afro-fusion sound. Nonetheless, it’s still a great taste of his talent.
Omo
This is Burna Boy’s latest single off his stellar African Giant album. Produced by Mr Kleb Beatz, the video’s location kicks off at the ‘Giant Club’ as Burna delivers a blend of his signature fusion of Afrobeat, dancehall, hip hop and R&B.
Another Story
'Another Story', another hit from the Nigerian star. Burna Boy’s artistic skill and musicality again prove why he’s still on top of the game. The political song delivers a strong message while keeping it light and relatable to fans. Whether you're at home or in the club, this one's a winner.
On the Low
This song should’ve been called ‘Angelina’ and is arguably one of Burna’s most successful videos after garnering more than 75 million views on YouTube in less than 12 months. The video features a jovial Angelina character performing sexy dance moves as Burna 'confesses' his love for her – perhaps a reminder of the success that comes with love.
Ye
A classic favourite among Burna Boy’s fans and a job well done by producer Phantom, the song features subtle elements that beg for the curious ear on this mid-tempo track featuring enticing background synth melodies and wailing backing vocals.
