Angelika Prox-Dampha

Photography and Video were initially just a hobby since childhood days, but with the age of the new media it became a passion and also a career. Today Angelika is a professional in website content production, website- and social media management. Working as the web- and social media manager for Goethe-Institut Senegal she did numerous photo and video shootings of events, artists and locations. She is mastering the digital tools from Office to Adobe Suite across HTML, JavaScript and PHP to Avid and Cubase.

Angelika has a degree in business administration from the University of Hamburg, Germany in international management, human resources and English. She has experience and expertise in quality management, accounting, administration, research, strategy development and training. She is fluent in English, French and her mother tongue, German and speaks little Spanish, Italian and bits of Wolof and Mandinka and does translation and interpretation. Since 2002 she is based in West Africa and well connected specifically in The Gambia and Senegal.
