Attended the National Music School, Conservatoire François Mitterrand at the age of six, starting with Guitar. Started DJ’ing at 15 in various parties and events and worked at the first private Radio station of the country, Radio One, while still in School. Enrolled at the School of Audio Engineering (SAE) in Chennai, India in 2003 and completed a B.A In Recording Arts (Law, Marketing and Management for Media) with the Middlesex University (London), in partnership with the S.A.E branch of Byron Bay, Australia in 2005. Master of Business Administration, MBA (specializing in Project Management) with the University of Southern Queensland, Australia in 2010. Master of Arts in Creative Media Practice with the S.A.E in partnership with the Middlesex University (London) in 2016 - Focusing the research on Post-Colonial Evolution of Mauritian Music and the Development of the Creative Industries to generate opportunities for the Socio-Economic Integration of African descendants who are the main actors of the Entertainment industry in Mauritius.
Resident DJ at the C-Moog Sound Bunker, Byron Bay, Australia, while touring other venues and clubs in the region between 2004 and 2005. Joined the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (National TV/Radio) in 2005, doing work in Radio, TV and Production departments.
Hired for Audio Visual Management and Operations for Club Med Resorts in Asia (Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Maldives) and Mauritius between 2005-2008. Duties involved Audio Visual operations and installations for the Resorts’ theatres, night clubs, conference rooms and outdoor venues as well as the construction and renovation of new resorts.
Joined the Open University of Mauritius (previously known as the Mauritius College of the Air) in 2008, to operate Audio Visual Equipment and produce educational support material based on National Curriculum for all levels (Primary, Secondary, Tertiary), documentaries and a variety of programmes including Music related.
Hired as a Creative Consultant for the Economic Development Board (previously known as the “Board of Investment”), under the Ministry of Finance in 2010, to create content for the WebTv and Investment Promotion Support material for all sectors and industries (Financial, Manufacturing, Medical etc).
