Cia DM

Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo to a Portuguese father and a Belgian mother, Cia DM (real name Patricia De Moura) is an artist based in Johannesburg, South Africa who grew up in Lubumbashi.

Her love for music was triggered by music sung back in early 1970s. Her music is rooted in pop culture. Cia DM is a trained musician known for playing music instruments such as the piano, violin but she chooses the guitar to express herself while juggling between French, English and Swahili languages.

She is also an author and music composer. Her success as a musician was through records made on her album called 'Eklektik'. The album was well received in cities such as Brussels, Lubumbashi and Johannesburg.
