Islam Elbeiti
Bio
Islam is a renowned Sudanese cultural curator and musician (bassist).
She has led and worked on several projects that have set the momentum for the entrepreneurial and cultural industry in Sudan and beyond. Islam has experiences that range from co-founding the first Sudanese entrepreneurship and innovation network to facilitating the development of informal music education in Africa through the Global Music Association.
Islam is a co-founder of the Sudanese Innovative Music Association. In addition, she is a Project Manager and Community Lead at the pan-African Innovation for Policy Foundation (i4Policy) focusing on democratic policy reform.
Islam has recently been listed as one of Africa's most influential young people.
