J. JAY BYO is a singer, song writer, producer who lives in Johannesburg, South Africa. His music is about capturing everyday human emotions through sound and lyricisim. He is inspired by everyday life struggles which we all face and hopes that through music, the listener might find a sense of comfort and healing. He is a dynamic artist who not only can sing, but can rap, write and produce in any genre. Inspired by legacy artists, old and new, such as Nat King Cole, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Drake, Beyonce, The Beatles etc..his vision and musical goal is to make timeless and everlasting music for generations to come. His work is a fusion of pop, rock, hip hop, rap, Rnb, afro pop, soul and jazz. Filled with catchy melodies and cadences inluenced by the sounds mentioned above, educated by the late Saranti Reeder in vocal training and stage performance he is also a graduate of COPA, Campus of Perfoming Arts where he studied Music in Business. His recent achievements include working with Gino Brown, the shaya inumber hitmaker, KHAEDA (IDOLS) who worked with Major league, FKA Moses and Revronbeats.
