Kuss Diverse

Kuss Diverse, born in Bizana, Eastern Cape, is a highly accomplished musician known for his skills in rapping, songwriting, producing, and performing. His musical journey began at the age of seven when he discovered his singing ability, and by the age of 12, he started writing his own rap lyrics.

In 2005, Kuss Diverse relocated from Port Shepstone to East London, where he established his own bedroom studio for music recording. Over the next few years, he honed his skills and improved his songwriting abilities. In 2007, alongside his childhood friend Talente Sithole, Kuss Diverse began releasing his music to the public.

Late 2007, Kuss Diverse became a part of LPA, an eight-member rap crew under SAM Productions, after connecting with Khanyisa 'Ken-B' Bengeza and Sakhumzi Ndeleni (known as Ref) through their mutual love for battle rap. Together, they collaborated on three mixtapes and founded U-Diverse Entertainment, an artist firm.

Kuss Diverse and U-Diverse Entertainment released the mixtape 'Along Came U' and performed their music in various cities, including East London, Port Elizabeth, Western Cape, Durban, and Port Shepstone. In 2010, Kuss Diverse directed and performed in U-Diverse Entertainment's production at the National Arts Festival (NAF) in Grahamstown. The following years, from 2010 to 2012, their productions were showcased at the NAF Fringe program under Kuss Diverse's direction.

In 2010, Kuss Diverse released his first solo mixtape titled 'My Everyday Valentine' under U-Diverse Entertainment. Later that same year, he released 'HotShot Emotions.' In 2012, he collaborated with 4 Da Record Entertainment on 'Art 2 Heart.' It was also in 2012 that Kuss Diverse founded IN.TYM, a media hub for artists, entertainers, and media practitioners.

Throughout his career, Kuss Diverse shared stages with award-winning artists and received airplay on BBC radio in the UK. He organized and hosted notable events, including Lance Romeo's Long Tour Road in 2017 and Ikhona's Live in Joburg event in the same year.

In 2018, Kuss Diverse released his first official EP titled 'Lace Up,' which garnered significant acclaim and received airplay on various South African radio stations. The EP's success extended internationally to stations in Jamaica and San Diego.

In 2020, during the global pandemic lockdown, Kuss Diverse released a free EP titled 'Shoot for the Moon' as a creative outlet to cope with the challenging times. The project showcased his resilience and ability to adapt to new circumstances while delivering powerful music to his audience.

By the end of 2020, Kuss Diverse took on the role of executive producer and featured artist on the compilation album titled 'Respect the Process.' This collaborative endeavor further exemplified his artistic versatility and commitment to the music industry.
