Le Mpendulo

Le Mpendulo is a world touring Ndebele African Soul artist, born and raised in the land of melodies, Mamelodi, a township in Pretoria, South Africa.

LeMpendulo is predominantly a singer, songwriter and guitarist. She is a qualified Graphic Designer and boasts in skills and experience in fashion styling, modelling and acting. Her experience and background in the arts makes her a true product of different Art disciplines. The multi diverse exposure to the arts in general have influenced her from humble beginnings to the ever evolving creative that she is.

Continuing in her career in music, Le Mpendulo has been honored to achieve the following:

 Performed at one of the biggest music and film festivals in the world, the SXSW in
Austin,Texas 2023.
 Honoured amongst the giants, Dr Gogo Esther Mahlangu and Dr Nothembi.
Mkhwebane as a Ndebele influencer 2022.
 Sailed and performed in the Caribbean, Atlantic and Pacific Ocean for guests on
board Carnival Cruise ships 2018 to 2020.
 Toured nationally and internationally more than 10 countries in the world.
 Performed at the 20th Standard Bank Joy of Jazz festival 2017.
 Won SA Indies Music Week 2016.
 Recorded music in South Africa and Atlanta USA 2016.
 Performed at the Afro Marimba Jazz festival in Oslo Norway, Europe 2015.
 Performed at South African leading radio station Metro FM with Glen Lewis and
Melanie Bala.
 Performed live On Power FM with Paul Mnisi.
 Performed live on SABC Morning Live news.
 Performed and Unplugged at “Sivukile Breakfast Show” on SABC, Ikwekwezi FM
with Mbuzana & R-Voonah.
 Released a single “Papape” and an EP “Itjhada” on all digital streams and selected
radio stations.
