Nongoma

Nongoma is a Germany-born musician from Johannesburg, South Africa.

She began playing the piano when she was eight years and later founded an all girl music band called Day By Day. She moved to South Africa where studied at National School of the Arts. She also studied sound engineering at SAE in Cape Town.

In 2015 Nongoma and her sister Nandi started a duo titled Kajama. The group has received critical acclaim and performed alongside South African Artists such as Nonku Phiri, Moonchild Sanlley, Zoe Modiga,Dorothy Masuka and Samething Soweto.

Nongoma has performed and collaborated with various musicians such as Thor Rixon, Johny Craddle and Gaika.
