MEET PADMORE - A GHANAIAN MUSICIAN AND INSTRUMENTALIST
Padmore Owusu Kwarteng, better
known by his stage name PADMORE, is a Ghanaian musician, songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer.
He was born and raised in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti region of Ghana.
Padmore started playing music including traditional drums from 8 years old. He offically performed as a musician in his early 20s (2009) in a music band called
The Governors Crew.
Padmore is a exciting and talented
musician. He has built a formidable reputation and worked with many great musicians in Ghana and beyond. These include musical luminaries such as Pat Thomas, the legendary Daddy Lumba, the former Captain of the Black Stars (national football team) Asamoah Gyan, Asa band, Kojo Antwi, Kwame Yeboah, Adina, Bisa K'Dei, Samini, Kwabena Kwabena, Akwaboah, Dan Tetteh, Reggie Rockstone, Patorankin, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Jupiter, Nero X, Selina Boateng, Ernest Opoku, Nana Sei (Nacy), Moses
OK, S.P. Kofi Sarpong, O.J, Victoria Sarfo, Mayor Harold Moore, Hubert Chigumira among others.
He has worked with the Grammy award-winning artiste, Morgan Heritage
(Gramps Morgan).
