Bio
Khutso Keith Mahowa (born 23 March 1991), professionally known as Peazfade, is a South African rapper, producer, songwriter and graphics designer. Born and raised in Bolobedu, Sehlakong (Ga-Modjadji). In 2011, The Mopani South East TVET graduate established his record label GM Entertainment. Peazfade rose to fame with the release of his smash single ‘Mapula Ke Waka’ (2011). He is known for rapping and singing on the Khelobedu Language, which is a delict of Northern Sotho.
His amazing single, as well as rapping endowment has had him perform at Balobedu Get Together (BGT), Molobedu Wa Swagger Day (MWS), the biggest annual events in Bolobedu. More than a decade in the industry, Peazfade has, under his belt, three (3) Mixtapes: The Creation (2011), Leka O Sitwe (2012), and Khebata (2013), as well as an album, Molobedu Bolobedu (2015), which includes songs like Encha Kudumela, and My Valentine. He shared stage with artists like, Cassper Nyovest, Lady Zamar, Candy Wa Tsamandebele, and K.O.
After meeting Victor Molebelele, famously known as MaVee On The Beat, the rapper was introduced to and swiftly fell in love with Afrobeat music; he has then transitioned from KheloRap to what he termed KheloAfro. Khechomie and Money Making Machine were the first two Songs to be released from his debut studio album Foko La Khosi (2021) which is also available on digital stores.
Being the epitome of KheloRap & KheloAfro, the “Money Making Machine” hit maker has outshone a plethora of emerging musicians, and he worked with Pe-Jay Pow, Danver Mars, Hlatsi Blondie, Bioddizy, Brinsley Motsepa and Lekkersweet on his latest KheloAfro Album ‘Foko La Khosi’. Peazfade’s talent for KheloRap & KheloAfro is surprising; he’s something of an oddity. To date, he’s still one of the most celebrated rappers.
In 2019 he got nominated for Best Newcomer and Best Hip-Hop Single at the Limpopo Music Awards (LAMA), he also been nominated for Best Khelobedu Artist/Group and Best Sepedi Collabo at the Sepedi Music Awards. He won Best Collabo; the award was for the song “Why” on which he features Pe-Jay Pow
Peazfade was interviewed at Thobela FM, Limpopo’s biggest radio station and other community radio stations include; Radio Turf, Sloot FM & Motion Sense which Is an online radio station. He appeared on Daily Sun newspaper, Sowetan and a local newspaper Lethaba Herald. Although he isn’t at the apex of his career, his rapping talent merits special attention: he’s the greatest local rapper, who will hold you spellbound
