Bio
Founded in July 2006, Playerz is a music outfit from Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. They released their maiden album 'On ne peut pas plaire à tout l’ monde' that same year. The ensemble started off as a trio but three years later, one of the members disbanded the group. As such, Raldy and Nindia began working as a duo. In 2009, the duo released a second album titled 'Laisse le temps au temps'. Their third album 'Ne Me Juge Pas' was released in 2012.
Their music demonstrate the ability to overcome obstacles. Their music is a fusion of Afro hip-hop, reggaeton, zouk, rap R nB and soul music. They fuse a variety of languages in their music namely French, English, Dioula, Moré, Spanish, Gourmantché and many more.
Since 2007, they have been nominated at a number of music awards in Burkina Faso. They have also won quite number of awards namely Best single and Public Price Award at the 2006 Burkina Rap Awards. In 2009, their song 'You And Me For Life' won the Best Video Clip.
