Cape Town’s Super Hypered, electrifying independent Recording artist Manuel also Known as Shack Is South Africa’s next House dance music promising artist yet to have the world at his feet. Born in Mozambique, Shack grew up In South Africa in the heart of the Mother city with his mother, where his love for music begin. Being introduced to the hip hop genre. Shack quickly became in love with music and cultivated his talented, which lend him to being part of Cape Town popular hip hop group called The Young soldiers at that time.
Throughout his musical journey and discovering himself as an artist, although Hip hop was his first -love and the foundation of his career, Shack made a switch to his music style from hip hop to House dance music. Shack believes that house music resonate with his Mozambican and South African culture and enables him to be true to himself and be able infuse a lot of African elements and languages to his sound.
“Nomande “is one of the singles he released amongst other club bangers that captivated the Cape Town’s party scene, which lend him working with a seasoned Award-winning Music video Director Alex Dean Fynn to shoot the music video to his hit single “Nomande” in collaboration with Blast Beat International as the main sponsor. In additions to the success of the hit single, he was featured on Hectic 9 nine, Cape Town Tv and gave an electrifying performance at Groove lounge 9th celebration having to share the stage with South Africa’s most Notable artists such as K.O / Professor/ Black Motion and many more. This opened doors to being invited to Cape Town Redbull Studio to collorabate on his new Ep Zillevels
Now as a solo artist, Shack brings a unique style and sound to the well-known house music South African is familiar too. He writes feel good, positive, festive music with infused African cultures.
