Siyakha

Born and raised in Vosloorus, East of Johannesburg, Siyakha (full name Siyakha Nomkhitha Tshayela), is a vocalist and songwriter based in Johannesburg. While growing up, she was exposed to an array of musical influences such as Afro-soul, pop, RnB, jazz and gospel.

Her music delves into issues of ubuntu (humanity), love and journeys of spirituality. In 2015, she released her first single titled 'Ungakhohlwa'. In the song, she reminds her audience that one should never forget their roots.
