960 Music Group CEO confirmed as speaker at Music In Africa event in Nigeria
960 Music Group CEO, Mark Redguard has been confirmed to speak at Music In Africa's event, at Social Media Week Lagos.
He was formerly founding CMO of digital music platform, Spinlet, Nigeria's most successful digital music distribution platform.
His move to Africa was ignited by his appointment as CMO in 2010. to then new entrants, Spinlet. Through his efforts, Spinlet grew to its pre-eminent position in the Nigerian Music space. An experienced Entertainment Lawyer, his solid career credentials before this, had included periods spent working with artistes like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith, Jazzy Jeff and many more. He was however to make his move to the 960 Music Group last year, as CEO. The 960 Music Group is an umbrella corporation, encompassing some of Nigeria's most influential Record labels, such as 2face Idibia's Hypertek Digital, Aristokrat Records, and Spaghetti Records, thus making it one of the biggest Record labels in West Africa.
Redguard will bring his immense gravitas and insider knowledge of the Nigerian digital marketing story to the fore, when he delivers his presentation 'The Nigerian digital music revolution', at Music In Africa's event.
