Asake and Limoblaze triumph at MOBO Awards 2024 – see all the winners

During a ceremony hosted by British actor and comedian Babatunde Aleshe and reality TV star Indiyah Polack, Asake beat fellow African colleagues Burna Boy, Davido, Rema, Wizkid, Tyla, Adekunle Gold, Ayra Starr, Libianca and Uncle Waffles to clinch the Best African Act Award. 

Limoblaze, meanwhile, took home the Best Gospel Award, overcoming competition from British acts Annatoria, CalledOut Music, Guvna B, Tofunmi Adorna and Triple O.

Other winners on the night included British-Ghanaian rapper Stormzy, who won for Video of the Year, and British-Nigerian artist Little Simz, who grabbed the Best Hip Hop Act Award.

The ceremony was livestreamed on YouTube, with BBC One to air the Access All Areas show on 9 February at 11.30pm.
