Call for applications: Women in Business Growth Lab in Nigeria
Connect Lab is inviting Nigerian female start-up founders to participate in its 2020 Women in Business Growth Lab in Abuja, Nigeria on a yet to be announced date.

Connect Lab seeks to support youth-led ventures and impact-driven social enterprise in Africa through entrepreneurship development support programmes learning and design thinking projects and policy advocacy workshops.
The three-month programme is aimed at emerging start-ups, and was created to stimulate businesses into profitable and sustainable enterprises to accelerate the creation of jobs on the continent. It is also geared towards fostering gender equality and bridging the existing gender gap in the continent’s tech ecosystem through impact investment.
Through the programme, Connect Lab will provide support for 40 female entrepreneurs across four components, including the co-creation and value proposition boot camp, the incubation programme, Women in Business Deal Day and Growth Mentorship Exchange.
Successful candidates will receive the following benefits: access to a network of partners, business and administrative support, access to mentorship from industry experts, as well as investors and funding.
Who should apply?
Entrepreneurs in the following fields can apply:
- Arts
- Agriculture
- AgriTech
- Education
- Ed-Tech
- Commerce
- Financial Services
- Fin-Tech
- Health Tech
- Renewable energy
Eligibility
- Applicants should be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Candidates must be the founder, co-founder or the chief technology officer of the start-up.
- Applicants must have an early-stage or minimum viability product start-up.
- Candidates must be physically available to attend the programme in Abuja.
